In Tuesday's league battle, the host King George Foxes volleyball team scored a tight 3-2 triumph over the Spotsylvania Knights.

The Foxes (11-5) will now prepare for their battle against Chancellor (Fredericksburg, VA). The Chargers come into the Battlefield battle with a 10-9 record. In their last battle, Chancellor nudged Caroline (Milford, VA), 3-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Knights clash with the James Monroe Yellow Jackets (Fredericksburg, VA) in a Battlefield battle, on Thursday, October 12. Spotsylvania will attempt to advance on its 8-9 season record. The Yellow Jackets come into the battle with a 12-2 record after their 3-0 league loss to Courtland (Spotsylvania, VA).
