The Latin Romans held off the visiting Regina Dominican Panthers volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Romans now have a 15-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to De La Salle for a non-league test on Tuesday, October 17. Latin will confront a Meteors team coming off a 2-1 league loss to Providence Catholic (New Lenox, IL). The Meteors record now stands at 24-6.
The Panthers (9-8) will now prepare for their test against Vernon Hills (Vernon Hills, IL). The Cougars enter the non-league test with a 13-15 record. In their last test, Vernon Hills held off Highland Park (Highland Park, IL), 2-0, in a league test.
