Illinois High School Volleyball - Metamora over Pekin

In Tuesday's league contest, the Metamora Redbirds (Metamora, IL) volleyball squad were winner over the host Pekin Dragons (Pekin, IL), by a margin of 2-0.

The Redbirds now have a 20-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Limestone for a Mid-Illini game on Thursday, October 12. Metamora will meet a Rockets team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Morton (Morton, IL). The Rockets record now stands at 19-8.

The Dragons (11-14) will now prepare for their contest against Breese Central (Breese, IL). The Cougars come into the non-league contest with a 25-4 record. In their last contest, Breese Central was beaten by Columbia (Columbia, IL), 2-0, in a league contest.
