The Northgate Broncos held off the host Miramonte Matadors volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Tuesday's league test.

The Broncos now have a 16-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Benicia for a Diablo-Foothill test on Tuesday, October 17. Northgate will confront a Panthers team coming off a 3-2 league win over Campolindo (Moraga, CA). The Panthers record now stands at 5-10.

The Matadors (11-8) will now prepare for their test against Las Lomas (Walnut Creek, CA). The Knights enter the Diablo-Foothill test with a 8-10 record. In their last test, Las Lomas was nudged by Acalanes (Lafayette, CA), 3-0, in a league test.
