Mount Pleasant Tigers (Mt. Pleasant, NC) backers left the game in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting Union Academy Cardinals (Monroe, NC), 3-0 in a league match.

With the loss, Union Academy drops to 6-12 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Carmel Christian (Matthews, NC) to battle the Cougars in a non-league match on Thursday, October 12. The Cougars come into the match with a record of 4-15. Carmel Christian lost 3-0 in their recent non-league match against Palisades (Charlotte, NC)
