In Tuesday's league battle, the host Rush City Tigers volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Pine City Dragons.
The Tigers (21-2) will now prepare for their battle against North Branch (North Branch, MN). The Vikings come into the non-league battle with a 15-5 record. In their last battle, North Branch achieved victory over St. Francis (St. Francis, MN), 3-0, in a league battle.
Next, the Dragons encounter the Mille Lacs co-op [Isle/Onamia] Huskies (Isle, MN) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, October 12. Pine City will attempt to advance on its 15-9 season record. The Huskies come into the battle with a 11-8 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Zimmerman (Zimmerman, MN).
