New Jersey High School Volleyball - South Plainfield tips Piscataway

The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the South Plainfield Tigers (South Plainfield, NJ) and the host Piscataway Chiefs (Piscataway, NJ), saw South Plainfield's volleyball squad nip Piscataway by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, South Plainfield upgrades its record to 7-10 on the year. The Tigers host North Plainfield (North Plainfield, NJ) to play the Canucks in a non-league bout on Friday, October 13. The Canucks go into the bout with a record of 2-6.

The Chiefs now own a 9-9 record. They play next when they host St. Thomas Aquinas for a Greater Middlesex - White bout on Tuesday, October 10. Piscataway will play a Trojans squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Piscataway (Piscataway, NJ). The Trojans record now stands at 3-10.
