The South Medford Panthers held off the host South Eugene Axe volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Tuesday's league test.
The Panthers now have a 12-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sheldon for a 6A Southwest test on Thursday, October 12. South Medford will confront a Irish team coming off a 3-1 league win over Roseburg (Roseburg, OR). The Irish record now stands at 19-9.
The Axe (8-12) will now prepare for their test against Roseburg (Roseburg, OR). The Indians enter the 6A Southwest test with a 22-6 record. In their last test, Roseburg was nudged by Sheldon (Eugene, OR), 3-1, in a league test.
