North Carolina High School Volleyball - South Lenoir tips Southwest Onslow

October 10, 2023: Jacksonville, NC 28540

The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the South Lenoir Blue Devils (Deep Run, NC) and the host Southwest Onslow Stallions (Jacksonville, NC), saw South Lenoir's volleyball squad nip Southwest Onslow by a tally of 3-2.

With the win, South Lenoir upgrades its record to 9-8 on the year. The Blue Devils host East Duplin (Beulaville, NC) to play the Panthers in a East Central 2A bout on Thursday, October 12. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 9-9. East Duplin lost 3-1 in their recent league bout against North Lenoir (LaGrange, NC)

The Stallions now own a 6-13 record. They play next when they travel to James Kenan for a East Central 2A bout on Monday, October 16. Southwest Onslow will play a Tigers squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to North Lenoir (LaGrange, NC). The Tigers record now stands at 2-13.
