Ohio High School Volleyball - Springfield overwhelmed by Streetsboro

In Tuesday's league battle, the visiting Streetsboro Rockets volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Springfield Spartans.

The Rockets (11-10) will now prepare for their battle against Coventry (Akron, OH). The Comets come into the Portage Trail - Metro battle with a 10-11 record. In their last battle, Coventry lost by Cloverleaf (Lodi, OH), 3-1, in a league battle.

Next, the Spartans clash with the Cloverleaf Colts (Lodi, OH) in a Portage Trail - Metro battle, on Thursday, October 12. Springfield will attempt to advance on its 6-14 season record. The Colts come into the battle with a 14-7 record after their 3-1 league win over Coventry (Akron, OH).
