The Goldbacks (4-2) will now prepare for their match against Pine Bush (Pine Bush, NY). The Bushmen enter the Section 9 AA match with a 2-3 record. In their last match, Pine Bush was outscored by Warwick (Warwick, NY), 43-28, in a non-league match.

Coming up next, the Middie Bears confront the Valley Central Vikings (Montgomery, NY) in a Section 9 AA match, on Friday, October 18. Middletown will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Vikings enter the match with a 3-2 record after their 24-13 league win over Kingston (Kingston, NY).
