The Monticello Magic football squad scored 21 points and limited the host Spring Lake Park Panthers to 14 in the Magic league triumph on Thursday.
The Magic now sport a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they host Cambridge-Isanti for a non-league test on Wednesday, October 16. Monticello will meet a Bluejackets squad coming off a 54-14 league loss to Elk River (Elk River, MN). The Bluejackets record now stands at 0-7.
With the defeat, Spring Lake Park drops to 3-4 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Mahtomedi (Mahtomedi, MN) to meet the Zephyrs in a non-league test on Wednesday, October 16. The Zephyrs come into the test with a record of 1-6. Mahtomedi lost 62-34 in their recent league test against Robbinsdale Armstrong (Plymouth, MN)
