The Garfield Bulldogs got by the visiting South Gate Rams flag football team by a score of 8-6 in Thursday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Bulldogs face the Bell Eagles (Bell, CA) in a Eastern challenge, on Monday, October 14. Garfield will attempt to improve on its 8-1 season record. The Eagles go into the challenge with a 7-4 record after their 6-0 league win over Legacy (South Gate, CA).
The Rams (3-8) will now prepare for their challenge against South East (South Gate, CA). The Jaguars go into the Eastern challenge with a 8-6 record. In their last challenge, South East was edged by Roosevelt (Los Angeles, CA), 14-13, in a league challenge.
