New York High School Soccer - Academy of the Holy Names nudges La Salle Institute

In Thursday's league outing, the host Academy of the Holy Names soccer squad scored a tight 2-1 victory over the La Salle Institute Cadets.
The (6-4) will now prepare for their outing against Catholic Central (Troy, NY). The Crusaders go into the Colonial Council outing with a 2-9 record. In their last outing, Catholic Central was edged by Albany Academy for Girls (Albany, NY), 4-1, in a league outing.
Next up, the Cadets confront the Ichabod Crane Riders (Valatie, NY) in a Colonial Council outing, on Friday, October 11. La Salle Institute will attempt to improve on its 3-6 season record. The Riders go into the outing with a 4-9 record after their 7-0 league loss to Schalmont (Schenectady, NY).
