Fans at Thursday's non-league battle between the Johnson Crusaders (Clark, NJ) and the host Kent Place Dragons (Summit, NJ), saw Johnson's soccer squad hold off Kent Place by a count of 1-0.

The Crusaders (6-4) will now prepare for their battle against Governor Livingston (Berkeley Heights, NJ). The Highlanders enter the Mountain Valley - Mountain battle with a 5-6 record. In their last battle, Governor Livingston tipped Franklin (Somerset, NJ), 2-1, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Dragons confront the The Pingry School Big Blue (Martinsville, NJ) in a non-league battle, on Wednesday, October 16. Kent Place will attempt to upgrade on its 5-6 season record.
