In Thursday's league outing, the host Overlake Owls soccer squad scored a tight 1-0 victory over the King's Knights.

The Owls (5-6) will now prepare for their outing against Bear Creek (Redmond, WA). The Grizzlies go into the 1A Emerald Sound outing with a 8-3 record. In their last outing, Bear Creek was edged by Eastside Prep (Kirkland, WA), 3-2, in a league outing.

Next up, the Knights play the Bush Blazers (Seattle, WA) in a 1A Emerald Sound outing, on Tuesday, October 15. King's will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record. The Blazers go into the outing with a 5-0 record after their 2-1 league win over Eastside Prep (Kirkland, WA).
