The Vikings now hold a 12-4 record. They play next when they travel to Hobart for a non-league bout on Saturday, October 12. Valparaiso will encounter a Brickies squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Portage (Portage, IN). The Brickies record now stands at 14-2.
With the loss, Merrillville moves to 2-14 on the year.
