Althoff Catholic Crusaders (Belleville, IL) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Metro-East Lutheran Knights (Edwardsville, IL), 2-0 in a league test.

With the win, Althoff Catholic improves its record to 16-7 on the season. The Crusaders travel to Mater Dei (Breese, IL) to face the Knights in a non-league test on Tuesday, October 15. The Knights go into the test with a record of 2-1. Mater Dei lost 2-0 in their recent non-league test against O'Fallon (O'Fallon, IL)

The Knights now own a 1-2 record.
