The Goochland Bulldogs volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Monticello Mustangs to 0 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Bulldogs now possess a 11-3 record. They play next when they travel to Charlottesville for a non-league outing on Tuesday, October 15. Goochland will play a Black Knights team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Fluvanna County (Palmyra, VA). The Black Knights record now stands at 3-8.

With the loss, Monticello drops to 3-10 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Western Albemarle (Crozet, VA) to play the Warriors in a non-league outing on Monday, October 14. The Warriors come into the outing with a record of 2-4. Western Albemarle won 2-0 in their recent non-league outing against Louisa County (Mineral, VA)
