In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host River View Panthers volleyball team scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Tri-Cities Prep Jaguars.
The Panthers (8-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Granger (Granger, WA). The Spartans come into the non-league challenge with a 9-2 record. In their last challenge, Granger edged Mabton (Mabton, WA), 5-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Jaguars meet the Quincy Jackrabbits (Quincy, WA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, October 15. Tri-Cities Prep will attempt to upgrade on its 2-9 season record. The Jackrabbits come into the challenge with a 1-9 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to East Valley (Yakima, WA).
