Armstrong River Hawks (Kittanning, PA) boosters exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team beat the host Kiski Area Cavaliers (Vandergrift, PA), 5-1 in a league test.

With the triumph, Armstrong moves its record to 11-8 on the campaign. The River Hawks host Indiana (Indiana, PA) to clash with the Little Indians in a WPIAL AAA 1 test on Tuesday, October 15. The Little Indians come into the test with a record of 13-2. Indiana won 1-0 in their recent league test against Hampton (Allison Park, PA)

The Cavaliers now sport a 0-16 record. They take the field next when they host Penn-Trafford for a non-league test on Saturday, October 12. Kiski Area will clash with a Warriors team coming off a 7-0 league win over Uniontown (Uniontown, PA). The Warriors record now stands at 8-5.
