In Thursday's league outing, the host Calvert Cavaliers soccer squad scored a tight 5-4 victory over the Patuxent Panthers.

The Cavaliers (3-6) will now prepare for their outing against Great Mills (Great Mills, MD). The Hornets go into the Southern Maryland outing with a 7-0 record. In their last outing, Great Mills got by McDonough (Pomfret, MD), 6-0, in a league outing.

Next up, the Panthers play the Thomas Stone Cougars (Waldorf, MD) in a Southern Maryland outing, on Tuesday, October 15. Patuxent will attempt to improve on its 3-8 season record. The Cougars go into the outing with a 5-4 record after their 1-0 league win over Lackey (Indian Head, MD).
