Chanute Blue Comets (Chanute, KS) backers exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Fort Scott Tigers (Fort Scott, KS), 5-0 in a league test.

With the triumph, Chanute advances its record to 7-5 on the campaign. The Blue Comets host Pittsburg (Pittsburg, KS) to clash with the Dragons in a Southeast Kansas test on Tuesday, October 15. The Dragons come into the test with a record of 3-8.

The Tigers now have a 2-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Independence for a Southeast Kansas test on Tuesday, October 15. Fort Scott will clash with a Bulldogs team coming off a 7-2 league win over Parsons (Parsons, KS). The Bulldogs record now stands at 6-4.
