Chavez Academy Aztec Eagles (Detroit, MI) backers exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Oak Park Knights (Oak Park, MI), 8-0 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Chavez Academy advances its record to 11-5 on the campaign. The Aztec Eagles host Hamtramck (Hamtramck, MI) to clash with the Cosmos in a non-league test on Tuesday, October 15. The Cosmos come into the test with a record of 11-8. Hamtramck lost 4-2 in their recent non-league test against Frontier International Academy (Hamtramck, MI)

The Knights now have a 1-6 record.
