Houghton Gremlins (Houghton, MI) backers exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Cheboygan Chiefs (Cheboygan, MI), 9-0 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Houghton advances its record to 5-4 on the campaign. The Gremlins travel to Grayling (Grayling, MI) to clash with the Vikings in a non-league test on Tuesday, October 15. The Vikings come into the test with a record of 17-3. Grayling lost 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Swan Valley (Saginaw, MI)

The Chiefs now have a 0-14 record.
