Fans at Thursday's league battle between the Cheltenham Panthers (Wyncote, PA) and the host Upper Moreland Bears (Willow Grove, PA), saw Cheltenham's soccer squad triumph over Upper Moreland by a count of 6-0.

The Panthers (7-4) will now prepare for their battle against New Hope-Solebury (New Hope, PA). The Lions enter the Suburban One - American battle with a 10-5 record. In their last battle, New Hope-Solebury tipped Lower Moreland (Huntingdon Valley, PA), 2-1, in a league battle.

Next up, the Bears battle the Springfield Township Spartans (Erdenheim, PA) in a non-league battle, on Monday, October 14. Upper Moreland will attempt to upgrade on its 6-9 season record. The Spartans enter the battle with a 13-1 record after their 4-0 non-league win over William Tennent (Warminster, PA).
