The Reed-Custer Comets soccer squad scored 4 points and held the host Clifton Central Comets to 1 in the Comets non-league victory on Thursday.

The Comets now hold a 10-10 record. They play next when they host Watseka for a non-league bout on Saturday, October 12. Reed-Custer will play a Warriors squad coming off a 4-3 league win over Georgetown-Ridge Farm/Westville (Georgetown, IL). The Warriors record now stands at 16-4.

With the loss, Clifton Central moves to 9-13 on the year.
