Fans at Thursday's league battle between the Mountain Ridge Miners (Frostburg, MD) and the host Fort Hill Sentinels (Cumberland, MD), saw Mountain Ridge's soccer squad triumph over Fort Hill by a score of 7-2.

The Miners (11-0) will now prepare for their battle against Hampshire (Romney, WV). The Trojans enter the non-league battle with a 4-9 record.

Next up, the Sentinels confront the Petersburg Vikings (Petersburg, WV) in a non-league battle, on Monday, October 14. Fort Hill will attempt to improve on its 4-7 season record. The Vikings enter the battle with a 3-7 record after their 10-1 league loss to East Fairmont (Fairmont, WV).
