Illinois High School Soccer - Lincoln-Way East knocks off Homewood-Flossmoor

In Thursday's league outing, the host Lincoln-Way East Griffins soccer squad scored a nice 8-0 victory over the Homewood-Flossmoor Vikings.

The Griffins (13-4) will now prepare for their outing against Plainfield East (Plainfield, IL). The Bengals go into the non-league outing with a 6-6 record. In their last outing, Plainfield East was overwhelmed by Yorkville (Yorkville, IL), 2-0, in a league outing.

Next up, the Vikings confront the Sandburg Eagles (Orland Park, IL) in a SouthWest Suburban Blue outing, on Wednesday, October 16. Homewood-Flossmoor will attempt to improve on its 3-14 season record. The Eagles go into the outing with a 6-10 record after their 2-1 league win over Bradley-Bourbonnais (Bradley, IL).
