In Thursday's league outing, the host Kirksville Tigers soccer squad scored a tight 3-2 victory over the Moberly Spartans.
The Tigers (7-6) will now prepare for their outing against Father Tolton (Columbia, MO). The go into the non-league outing with a 6-8 record. In their last outing, Father Tolton was edged by Sunnydale Academy (Centralia, MO), 2-1, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Spartans confront the Hickman Kewpies (Columbia, MO) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, October 12. Moberly will attempt to improve on its 9-10 season record. The Kewpies go into the outing with a 12-5 record after their 4-3 non-league win over Capital City (Jefferson City, MO).
