Marion County Knights (Lebanon, KY) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host Taylor County Cardinals (Campbellsville, KY), 3-1 in a league test.

With the triumph, Marion County moves its record to 16-3 on the campaign.

The Cardinals now sport a 12-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bethlehem for a non-league test on Sunday, October 13. Taylor County will meet a Eagles/Banshees team coming off a 4-1 non-league win over North Hardin Christian (Radcliff, KY). The Eagles/Banshees record now stands at 12-2.
