In Thursday's league outing, the visiting Scituate Spartans soccer squad scored a tight 4-0 win over the Narragansett Mariners.

The Spartans (13-0) will now prepare for their outing against Smithfield (Esmond, RI). The Sentinels enter the Division 2 outing with a 8-4 record. In their last outing, Smithfield tipped Tiverton (Tiverton, RI), 2-1, in a league outing.

Next up, the Mariners confront the Prout Crusaders (Wakefield, RI) in a Division 3 outing, on Tuesday, October 15. Narragansett will attempt to improve on its 6-3 season record. The Crusaders enter the outing with a 4-7 record after their 1-1 league Ponaganset (North Scituate, RI).
