The Triad Math and Science Academy Bengals (Greensboro, NC) soccer overwhelmed the visiting Phoenix Academy Firebirds (High Point, NC), 10-1 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
The Bengals now hold a 4-6 record. They play next when they travel to The Burlington School for a non-league challenge on Friday, October 11. Triad Math and Science Academy will encounter a Spartans squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Cristo Rey Research Triangle (Durham, NC). The Spartans record now stands at 13-4.
With the loss, Phoenix Academy moves to 5-3 on the year. The Firebirds travel to Carver (Winston-Salem, NC) to play the Yellowjackets in a non-league bout on Monday, October 14. The Yellowjackets go into the bout with a record of 7-2.
