Portsmouth Christian Patriots (Portsmouth, VA) backers exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Richmond Christian Warriors (Chesterfield, VA), 10-1 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Portsmouth Christian advances its record to 2-9 on the campaign. The Patriots host Hampton Christian Academy (Hampton, VA) to clash with the Warriors in a METRO test on Tuesday, October 15. The Warriors come into the test with a record of 3-8.

The Warriors now have a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Spirit HomeSchool for a non-league test on Friday, October 11. Richmond Christian will clash with a Warhawks team coming off a 8-0 non-league loss to Varsity Opponent (, ). The Warhawks record now stands at 6-2.
