Fans at Thursday's non-league battle between the Springfield Township Spartans (Erdenheim, PA) and the visiting William Tennent Panthers (Warminster, PA), saw Springfield Township's soccer squad prevail over William Tennent by a count of 4-0.

The Spartans (13-1) will now prepare for their battle against Upper Moreland (Willow Grove, PA). The Bears enter the non-league battle with a 6-9 record. In their last battle, Upper Moreland by Cheltenham (Wyncote, PA), 6-0, in a league battle.

Next up, the Panthers battle the Lower Moreland Lions (Huntingdon Valley, PA) in a non-league battle, on Monday, October 14. William Tennent will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record. The Lions enter the battle with a 5-5 record after their 2-1 league loss to New Hope-Solebury (New Hope, PA).
