California High School Soccer - Weed nudges Trinity

The Weed Cougars (Weed, CA) soccer nipped the visiting Trinity Wolves (Weaverville, CA), 2-1 in Thursday's league challenge.

The Cougars now hold a 5-7 record. They play next when they host Mt. Shasta for a Shasta Cascade challenge on Saturday, October 12. Weed will encounter a Bears squad coming off a 0-0 league Fall River (McArthur, CA). The Bears record now stands at 7-3.
