The Normandy Vikings softball squad (St. Louis, MO), was routed 15-0 in Thursday's non-league contest with the host McCluer Comets (Florissant, MO)

With the triumph, McCluer improves its record to 10-5 on the year. The Comets host Hazelwood East (St. Louis, MO) to face the Spartans in a Class 4 District 6 contest on Monday, October 14. The Spartans enter the contest with a record of 3-10.

The Vikings now hold a 1-8 record. They play next when they travel to University City for a non-league contest on Monday, October 14. Normandy will face a Lions squad coming off a 25-15 non-league loss to Bayless (St. Louis, MO). The Lions record now stands at 11-5.
