AGWSR Cougars (Ackley, IA) boosters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Gladbrook-Reinbeck Rebels (Reinbeck, IA), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, AGWSR improves its record to 10-22 on the season. The Cougars travel to Hudson (Hudson, IA) to face the Pirates in a test on Thursday, October 10. The Pirates go into the test with a record of 19-9. Hudson won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against East Marshall (Le Grand, IA)

The Rebels now own a 16-16 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dunkerton for a non-league test on Saturday, October 12. Gladbrook-Reinbeck will face a Raiders squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Rockford (Rockford, IA). The Raiders record now stands at 16-9.
