Fans at Thursday's league contest between the Albemarle Patriots (Charlottesville, VA) and the host Orange County Fighting Hornets (Orange, VA), observed Albemarle's volleyball team top Orange County by a count of 3-0.

The Patriots (14-2) will now prepare for their contest against Fluvanna County (Palmyra, VA). The Flying Flucos enter the Jefferson contest with a 12-5 record. In their last contest, Fluvanna County notched a victory over Charlottesville (Charlottesville, VA), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Fighting Hornets meet the Western Albemarle Warriors (Crozet, VA) in a Jefferson contest, on Tuesday, October 15. Orange County will attempt to move on its 0-14 season record.
