In Thursday's league challenge, the visiting Bishop Montgomery Knights volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Sacred Heart of Jesus Comets.

The Knights (18-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Mary Star of the Sea (San Pedro, CA). The Stars come into the Del Rey challenge with a 1-19 record. In their last challenge, Mary Star of the Sea lost by Bishop Amat (La Puente, CA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Comets meet the Saint Joseph Jesters (Lakewood, CA) in a Del Rey challenge, on Tuesday, October 15. Sacred Heart of Jesus will attempt to upgrade on its 15-6 season record. The Jesters come into the challenge with a 22-10 record after their 3-0 league win over Bishop Montgomery (Torrance, CA).
