Illinois High School Volleyball - Bloomington Central Catholic over Monticello

Fans at Thursday's league contest between the Bloomington Central Catholic Saints (Bloomington, IL) and the visiting Monticello Sages (Monticello, IL), observed Bloomington Central Catholic's volleyball team top Monticello by a count of 2-0.

The Saints (20-4) will now prepare for their contest against St. Teresa (Decatur, IL). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 4-17 record. In their last contest, St. Teresa was knocked off by Sacred Heart-Griffin (Springfield, IL), 2-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Sages battle the Beecher Bobcats (Beecher, IL) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, October 12. Monticello will attempt to move on its 12-10 season record. The Bobcats enter the contest with a 14-7 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Illiana Christian (Dyer, IN).
