In Thursday's league challenge, the host Trumann Wildcats volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Blytheville Chickasaws.

The Wildcats (4-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Westside (Jonesboro, AR). The Warriors come into the 4A 3 challenge with a 10-12 record. In their last challenge, Westside lost by Jonesboro (Jonesboro, AR), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Chickasaws play the Highland Rebels (Hardy, AR) in a 4A 3 challenge, on Monday, October 14. Blytheville will attempt to upgrade on its 0-8 season record. The Rebels come into the challenge with a 13-7 record after their 3-0 league loss to Brookland (Brookland, AR).
