With the win, Burroughs improves its record to 13-10 on the season. The Bears travel to Santa Fe (Santa Fe Springs, CA) to face the Chiefs in a non-league test on Saturday, October 12. The Chiefs go into the test with a record of 25-4. Santa Fe won 3-0 in their recent league test against El Rancho (Pico Rivera, CA)

The Nitros now own a 25-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pasadena for a Pacific test on Thursday, October 10. Glendale will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Muir (Pasadena, CA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 14-17.
