With the win, James River improves its record to 12-7 on the season. The Knights host Radford (Radford, VA) to encounter the Bobcats in a Three Rivers battle on Wednesday, October 16. The Bobcats go into the battle with a record of 7-5.

The Cavaliers now own a 9-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Floyd County for a Three Rivers battle on Tuesday, October 15. Carroll County will encounter a Buffaloes squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Patrick County (Stuart, VA). The Buffaloes record now stands at 4-13.
