Fans at Thursday's league contest between the Walt Whitman Wildcats (Huntington Station, NY) and the visiting Central Islip Musketeers (Central Islip, NY), observed Walt Whitman's volleyball team top Central Islip by a count of 3-0.

The Wildcats (4-8) will now prepare for their contest against Patchogue-Medford (Medford, NY). The Raiders enter the Section 11 AA-1 contest with a 9-3 record. In their last contest, Patchogue-Medford was knocked off by Ward Melville (East Setauket, NY), 3-1, in a league match.

The Musketeers (0-4) will now prepare for their match against Riverhead (Riverhead, NY). The Blue Waves enter the Section 11 AA-1 match with a 0-3 record.
