The Pomeroy Pirates volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Colton Wildcats to 0 in the Pirates league triumph on Thursday.

The Pirates now have a 6-5 record. They play next when they host Dayton for a 1B Southeast - East outing on Tuesday, October 15. Pomeroy will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Garfield-Palouse (Palouse, WA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-8.

With the loss, Colton drops to 1-10 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Prescott (Prescott, WA) to play the Tigers in a non-league outing on Saturday, October 12. The Tigers come into the outing with a record of 4-7. Prescott lost 3-0 in their recent non-league outing against Walla Walla Valley Academy (College Place, WA)
