The Columbia Capitals (Columbia, SC) volleyball knocked off the visiting Fairfield Central Griffins (Winnsboro, SC), 3-1 in Thursday's league bout.
The Capitals now possess a 1-9 record. They play next when they travel to Chester for a AA Region 2 bout on Tuesday, October 15. Columbia will clash with a Cyclones team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Clinton (Clinton, SC). The Cyclones record now stands at 4-14.
With the loss, Fairfield Central drops to 6-9 on the campaign.
