In Thursday's league challenge, the visiting Cosby Titans volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the James River Midlothian Rapids.

The Titans (10-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Midlothian (Midlothian, VA). The Trojans enter the Dominion challenge with a 14-1 record. In their last challenge, Midlothian beat Monacan (Richmond, VA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Rapids meet the Thomas Dale Knights (Chester, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, October 14. James River Midlothian will attempt to upgrade on its 5-9 season record. The Knights enter the challenge with a 10-6 record after their 3-0 league win over Dinwiddie (Dinwiddie, VA).
