Pinole Valley Spartans (Pinole, CA) followers left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting De Anza Dons (El Sobrante, CA), 3-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Pinole Valley advances its record to 6-10 on the season. The Spartans travel to Saint Mary's (Albany, CA) to face the Panthers in a Tri-County test on Friday, October 11. The Panthers go into the test with a record of 20-10. Saint Mary's won 3-0 in their recent league test against Hercules (Hercules, CA)

The Dons now sport a 3-8 record.
