The Toreadors go into the battle with a record of 30-6. Taft won 3-0 in their recent league battle against Birmingham (Lake Balboa, CA)

The Vanguards now own a 4-21 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sonora for a Freeway battle on Wednesday, October 16. El Modena will encounter a Raiders squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Brea Olinda (Brea, CA). The Raiders record now stands at 23-11.
